Taking it to the Streets
Damn, what a crazy weekend. We took it to the streets just like to Doobie Brothers intended. Saturday was pretty much a whole weekend wrapped up into one insanely hullabalicious day. Things started off early with the St. Paddy's Day parade in downtown Hartford. Well, I missed the parade but I'm not one for floats and bagpipes anyways. I don't recall ever being at the Pig's Eye while it was still light out and I probably won't try that again. I saw three rip-roarin' fights between noon and midnight at various exotic locales. Sunday was a bit more toned down of course. I think I'm going to get XM Satellite radio after work today. Everyone I've talked to about this wants to know why I'm not getting Sirius instead...I suppose the thinking is that Howard is on Sirius and XM does not have Howard. Ehhh, so? I really wasn't going to plunk down hundreds of bucks to hear Howard swear on the radio. Actually, my decision was solely based on the availability of MLB and the Yankees. The XM device that I'm going to get is the portable headphone enabled one that also had a built-in FM transmitter so I can listen to tunes in other people's cars and stuff too. Has anyone used this? Does it work well?
