Protest/Strike?

So there are people out in front of my building protesting/striking.  Well, technically they are in front of WFSB, but since it is across the street from my building, they are in front of it in a way.  There are a lot of them too.  Walking around in a circle just like you see in generic strike/protests.  The problem is that they aren't doing a very good job of informing John Q. Public about their intentions.  Many of them are carrying signs that say something to the effect of "WFSB Sucks!".  I really haven't put too much thought into it but apparently channel 3 isn't good.  So anyways, as I was walking along the footbridge I stopped to take their pictures.  As I was looking into the display to take the picture I swear that I saw a bunch of them waving at me...so I looked up and they really were waving at me.  I was pretty psyched about that so I raised my fist in support of God only knows what cause.  I guess I'll support just about anything people are willing to protest.  I figure they must be protesting something bad, right?  So, "Go Protesters!".  Give channel 3 hell!

Man, that is wayyy too funny.

I'm a WFSB guy, I didn't hear anything about it on their morning program, although now that I think about it, they didn't show the traffic cam view out that particular window. One of the weather girls just had a baby...maybe that's what they're protesting.

They're probably an advertising agency that got canned for not delivering a clear message, unfortunately for them, it reflects in their protest as well.

Yeah, plus I don't think that WFSB is too interested in a story about how much people think they suck either.

When I was in the lobby of our building I went over to the security person at the desk and watched her zoom in on them with the building security cameras.  Those things are pretty powerful!  We zoomed in on like everything and we couldn't find any reason to the protest.

Madness.

We've been talking to our counterparts at Sikorsky about the strike over there. Now those people know how to strike! They grill hotdogs, and when a guy (or gal) crosses the lines to go back to work, their name goes on 'The Wall of Shame'. They shout at cars, and have pretty detailed signs.

Hopefully the fire dept. comes and blasts that micro-protest away with a fire hose.

There are cops and stuff out there now.  Everybody in the office is trying to figure out why they are out there.  It is decieving in a way because it looks pretty well organized with a lot of people and stuff...but apparently nobody put out a press release or something.

If they had hotdogs  I would totally be out there doing a few laps and eating breakfast.
