A Bunch of Thoughts

It's lunchtime and I'm bored.  I think that the holes in Swiss cheese are a marketing ploy to differentiate the Swiss style from its lactic bretheren.  I mean, does anybody like Swiss cheese enough to get it if it didn't have holes?  It would just be another unremarkable yellowish cheese I think.  Also, puppy likes cheese, but she won't eat swiss.  That pretty much says it all.  rrtffffff.  I tried to jazz up my myspace page this weekend but I was having a tough time finding any layouts with real dinosaurs (they were all artists depictions) or anything that looked even remotely historical.  Turns out, there are a lot of really crappy tiled layouts out there (I used the word 'out' three times in that sentence!  Excellent.).  I think it would be really cool to find life on other planets and then have it turn out to be dinosaurs.  I mean, why not, right?  They were here for a while so they could exist somewhere else.  I want to buy a chunk of lead just to see how heavy it really is.  It was probably a bad idea to make pencils out of lead because its toxic and kids use them.  Did you know that rubber is called rubber because the guy that discovered it used it to rub out pencil marking?  He got natural rubber from some trees in the south pacific I think.  I would've loved to have seen Krakatoa errupt in Indonesia.  I'm sure I would've only lived for a few minutes afterwards and died in some kind of pyroclastic flow, but whatever.  The K-T asteroid would've been another cool event to witness for a split second.  I heard that it drove itself 20 miles into the earth!  That's amazing.  20 miles is a long way down.  Bam!

Meg can gussy up your Myspace for you. Give her a holler.

Yeah, I had Nessie try to help with mine, but it turns out I'm a giant pain in the ass and nothing is ever good enough.  I don't think that what I'm looking for exists in the real world.

Yeah, I'm still waiting on my swinging 1960's Las Vegas theme which looks really fucking sweet in my head. I wish they'd come out with something where two people could beam thoughts to one another. I'd beam kick ass myspace layouts to web designers and they could pay me.

Yeah man, same here.  I want a picture of real dinosaurs but I suppose that's totally impossible unless I get a picture of some bones...so that one's pretty much out the window from the get go.  I would also like some kind of crappy old map with like lines of demarcation and sailing routes and stuff.  That would be kickass.  Or else maybe like a roman senate but without the romans in it...just empty senate chambers or whatever.

Hey, so what else is goin on? I'm kinda bored here. Good weekend?

Yeah, pretty good weekend.  Friday night was kind of a bust for the most part...spent most of the night hanging out with my sister.  Went out to The Bar around 10:00, which was surprisingly cool for what it was.  Played lots of free pool because of my insane skills.

Ness came up on Saturday and we took a bunch of pictures of crap.  It was funners as well.

How was your weekend?  Massing again?  I saw you R.S.V.P'ed to Meg's invite.  That should be fun.  Wanna meet up beforehand and head downtown from N'ington?

Friday was a bust for me too, just kinda sat around waiting for my friend to call.

Saturday I met Amy's parents then went to a party at her friends house up near Boston. It was a good time. Pretty much owned at Trivial Pursuit 90's edition.

yeah man, we should pre-game the Meg event or something. Amy's gonna come with, so I figured I'd take her to Koji's for a Scorpion bowl then maybe give her the tour of New England's rising star, but I don't see anything wrong with it becoming a team effort. We can all go dutch on parking.

Parking?  I got a bus pass, dude.  :)  I can meet you guys down there or something if you want.

Triv. 990's edition?  Sounds like a total pain in the ass.  I notice that everytime they try and make a genre-specific version they seem to like run out of decent questions and they start pulling the most obscure things in the world.  Lots of them don't even make any sense and there's like nobody in the world who would ever get them.  Maybe that's just me.  I will only play Genus series from now on.

Did you know that today would've been Independence Day in Upper Volta...if Upper Volta still existed that is.  It became Burkina Faso in 1984.  There's some really useless trivia for ya.

Good luck. Dinosaurs have been extinct for a few handful of millennia.

I'm pretty sure this is what the T-Rex looked like, just before going extinct.
