Hey. It works! Look at me, I'm blogging! Ok, now look away. Thanks Timbo for the fixing. Now, whenever I'm having technical difficulties I'm just going to post them on Joe's page and that will fix everything. :) So so so so so...Friday? Yes, Friday. Hot damn, this has been a frickin' awesome week. Best week ever? You bet. I'm friggin' psyched for this weekend like nobody's business. Heading down to the Peabody museum to check out the Alien Earths exhibit about extraterrestrial life. Oh snap! Check out what I'm gonna get to do!
Oh yeah, that's right...I'm gonna come back here on Monday and satisfy your overwhelming curiosity about how microbial colonies smell. I bet they smell fantastic! But that's not all! I also made plans to go to the Wadsworth Antheneum...except this adventure has a more subversive agenda. I'm supposed to be going to go see "Picasso to Pop: Aspects of Modern Art" but I think Picasso is a talentless hack and modern art in general is pathetic. My secret plan is to sneak off to the "Faith and Fortune: Five Centuries of European Masterworks" exhibit. Shhhhhh. :)
"Drawing upon the fine and decorative arts of the Renaissance through the Neo-Classical and Romantic eras, Faith and Fortune will showcase approximately 500 treasures: more than 125 paintings; exquisite objects made of bronze, silver, ivory, ceramics, and glass; and select sculptures."
It's gonna be awesome...and free. Martin Luther King day is a Wadsworth open house and I have the day off. I'm gonna get my learn-on free of charge, yo.
You're lucky you have an educational hobby. I think I'm going to a martini bar this weekend. Actually that's pretty fun.
Modern art sucks, except me and a couple of peeps went to the Salvador Dali exhibit a few years back. That was pretty effing awesome.
Ness is definitelly a Dutch Master. :)
Might be a bit awkward if you came on Monday since I'll be going with Jill. I think the modern art exhibit is running for a while though, maybe some other time?
Actually, the primacy of bros over hos was challenged and finally repealed by the Ho Recognition Act of 2003.
Section 4, subsection (a) states that hos are to be recognized as being separate but equal to bros in all matters of social interraction except in instances where the aforementioned ho has entered into a legally binding contract to the party in question.
You better recognize!
