I'm thinking about pelicans. Boy, is that a ridiculous animal. |

Cavutto, I like where you're going with this pelican thing. The way I see it, you've got a couple of options. Here's a list of possibilities:
1. The evolution of the pelican.
2. A pelican with super powers.
3. Take your own advice - pelicans playing hockey.
Interestingly enough, my aunt Maggie up in western Canada used to have a pet pelican. You know how pelicans are thought to symbolize the blood of Christ or something? Passion of Christ? I forget. Yeah, well, she's a religious nut and she thought it would bring her closer to Jesus or something. So, she went out and bought this stupid pelican. Forgot what she named it - Eddie or something. St. Eddie, maybe. Anyway, dumb thing couldn't fish to save its life, and she ended up having to hand feed it for awhile. Didn't last long, though; it must've gotten into the trash or something. Ate something real bad, got sick, and went belly-up. I think she was secretly relieved that she didn't have to deal with that retarded bird anymore. Blood of Christ!

Hey, we got lots of pelicans out here, want one to study? You could keep it in your bath. Wait. Maybe you don't have a bath, only a shower. Any case, what do you do when you want a bath (if you have one)? Got some swimming pool nearby? Only it's gotta have a roof otherwise the bugger will fly away.
Wait now, how we going to get it to you? Packing in a crate and sticking it on a plane is more than I can afford. Can you post/mail one end of a very long bit of string, I'll get it flying and you reel in? Germ of an idea there ...
